Steve Gillespie

Steve Gillespie PREC* is a licensed REALTOR® with Oakwyn Realty. Steve has spent the past seventeen years as a REALTOR® cultivating relationships with his peers and fosters strong ties with construction experts, designers, architects, mortgage brokers, and stagers to help his clients through every facet of buying and selling their home.

As one of the first REALTORS® to implement virtual/video tours and 3D floor plans to help market properties over a decade ago, and his use of current and cutting-edge technologies to streamline his time, marketing, and search efforts quickly landed him the Medallion status that he had maintained consistently for 12 years, being in the top 10% of realtors in the Lower Mainland.

In 2019 Steve and his family moved to Indonesia to enjoy an adventure and spend some time together without the distractions of the big city. It was there that the idea of a move back to Vancouver Island, where he had grown up, was hatched. 

Now living in Cumberland when he is not working you can find him with his family on the bike trails, playing at the Cumberland Village Park, skiing Mount Washington or relaxing on Hornby Island.

Ticara Coertze

I grew up living a West Coast lifestyle on Hornby Island and Lasqueti Island. 

Since then I chose to stay true to my roots and pursued a life centred in sustainable farming and agriculture. Practicing ethical animal husbandry, traditional food preservation and regenerative land management. 

Over the decades I've made lasting connections in my communities and hold extensive local knowledge in the areas I now serve as a Licensed Realtor with Oakwyn Realty. 

My time outside of Real Estate is spent as an outdoors enthusiast; exploring, camping, gardening, snowboarding, out on the ocean, and tenderly caring for livestock and pets.

I recognize the profound importance of securing a home in order to thrive in life, and I'm committed to ensuring an honest, personalized and efficient service. 

My focus is to establish lasting relationships with my clients that go beyond one transaction. I aim to build trust and become a friend and future resource.
